Formula Boats of Decatur, Ind., has chosen SeaSafe Group LLC, a marine warranty and service contract company, to manage the company's five-year stem-to-stern warranty program labeled Formula Guard.
"After careful consideration and a thorough evaluation process stretching out over the past 18 months, Formula chose SeaSafe Group/Interstate & as the candidate most capable of delivering extended protection products measuring up to the quality and reliability of the Formula product itself," said Mike Boyd, technical assistant director for Formula, in a statement. "SeaSafe Group/INDS also distinguished themselves by demonstrating advanced technological capabilities with regard to administration, reporting and marketing. "
Based in Sarasota, Fla., SeaSafe Group provides marine manufacturers a vehicle for issuing customized coverage for a stem-to-stern product. The company has more than 25 years of experience, with 150 employees dedicated to administering and paying claims to customers.
